By accessing or using CompressLocal (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CompressLocal provides free, browser-based file compression tools for images and PDF documents. All processing occurs entirely within your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. No files are transmitted to any server.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Service for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process files containing illegal content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or excessively load the Service
• Misrepresent the origin or nature of files processed through the Service

4. No Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or produce specific compression results for any given file.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CompressLocal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss or file corruption.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code comprising CompressLocal is the intellectual property of its creators and is protected by applicable copyright laws. Files you process through the Service remain your property.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
